Just as Modern Medical Science has considered two types of sinusitis, chronic and acute. In Ayurveda also Pratishyaya is known as Nav Pratishyaya ‘Acute Sinusitis’ and Pakva Pratishyaya ‘Chronic Sinusitis’.
