During the first eight months of 2020, 700 million fewer international tourists traveled compared to the same period in 2019.The decline in tourism has already caused an estimated $730 billion in losses worldwide, More than 120 million people in the industry—tour guides, cruise ship workers, restaurant servers, and many others—could lose their jobs.
